From experience it’s hard not to get mad when you loose and think they’re bming you, even till this day it hard for me. One time I said thank you to another player because I was enjoying the game and I think it made them mad because they started spamming Thanks after every single turn, and on the last turn instead of using fireball to kill me (I had been at five health for a couple turns) they played a bunch of other cards, waited a bit, and then used the fireball that they had been holding for like three turns, and said thank you as I died, lol. I dunno, maybe I’m just giving him more credit because I like him. I think maybe instead of “hello” it means “goodbye” in this context, which kind of makes sense since there is no goodbye emote. But then I saw a streamer I like use the emote right before hitting lethal and it didn’t seem like he meant it in a mean way. I found this annoying because a lot of the time I felt like when they said this that the match wasn’t really over and they shouldn’t start gloating just yet. I thought at first that they were trying to let me know that they think I should concede since they would often use it right before a really good play, like troublemaker or libram of hope.
